GFSI partnered with several recognized leaders in the tri-state region including the Hong Kong Association of New York, Jelart Enterprises, the Asia Society, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, and others to deliver an investment conference entitled “Private Equity Investment in Hong Kong and China, Case Analysis of Various Investment and Financing Strategies.”

The conference highlighted various challenges facing private equity investors in Asia. It helped participants learn about private equity investment approaches and techniques by examining such stages as rationale development, target identification and valuation, deal structure, financing, post-deal management, and exit strategies. Over 60 participants consisting of academics, private equity investors, and other professionals and media personnel were in attendance.
