and services with an international focus.
Working closely with Asian Business and the Technology and Society
departments at GFSI the Global Finance department strives to produce quality
economic research, training, and consulting services for business practitioners
and students. With the support from the Financial Center, the university's
state-of-the-art simulated trading floor, students are given a unique
opportunity to learn using industry standard software and data feeds.
- Certified Financial Planner -
The retirement of baby boomers, growing entitlements, longer life spans, and lower yields have created a need for Certified Financial planners.

Distinguished Speakers Series and Practitioner Forums. The Institute promotes student awareness on important current issues through the Distinguished Speaker Series.

The first annual Hands-on Finance Training Series (I) is organized by the Institute of Global Financial Services at William Paterson University and several well known universities in China.
