Ben Yarmolinsky & Friends
An evening of new and recent compositions by Ben Yarmolinsky

With mezzo-soprano Silvie Jensen, Baritone Bruce Rameker, Guitarists Francisco Roldan and Ben Yarmolinsky, Pianists Ishmael Wallace and Alex Wu

The program will include the premieres of Menashe Songs II, six songs on poems by Samuel Menashe, recent winner of the Neglected Masters Award from The Poetry Foundation, and New York Minutes, a new work for guitar and piano commissioned by the Roldan-Wu Duo, as well as excerpts from the new musical Music Appreciation. Also on the program will be Menashe Songs I, Bowles Songs (on poems of Paul Bowles) and Music for 4 Hands.
