David Kerzner, associate professor, coordinator of BA in Popular Music, coordinator of BM in Sound Engineering Arts, M.S., B.S. College of Fredonia, State University of New York.
Professor David Kerzner holds a master's degree in computer- aided composition from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a bachelor's degree in sound recording technology with a dual major in mathematics/physics. His students have been the recipients of Grammy and Emmy awards and have worked with artists at the highest levels of the music industry. He has been responsible for the creation of 3 academic programs during his 20-year academic career. Professor Kerzner has also written music for film and for video. Clients have included: Alarm Will Sound, Clark Terry, Albany Records, Naxos Records, Crystal Records, Warren Miller Enterprises, Sherri Lewis, Independence Jazz Reunion, and Temple Town records. In addition, Professor Kerzner continues to be active as a guitarist playing in a wide variety of jazz, rock, soul, and theatrical ensembles.
