Auditions for all Bachelor of Arts programs are by recording only. Instructions for uploading your recorded audition will be sent via email after you apply.
Second: Apply to William Paterson University HERE.
Third: Receive email with instructions for Music Department Application.
Upon submission of the University Application, you will receive an email with your Student ID (a 9-digit code that begins with 855) and instructions for submitting Music Department application materials online.
Fourth: Log into Decision Desk to complete the Music Application.
Here you will complete your music department application and upload your audio-recorded audition and other materials:
- An essay, approximately 300 words, describing your personal, artistic, and career goals (Word or PDF only).
- A list of major solo material and repertoire studied during the past three years (Word or PDF only).
- Names and email addresses of two references who can speak to your character and abilities. One reference must be a music educator or studio teacher. They will then be contacted by the Music Department.
- An audio-recorded audition
