Professor Prince has exhibited in over 54 juried and invitational shows nationally and internationally. Prince has works on consignment at Pierogi Gallery and Soho Myriad.
Lily Prince has just received a prestigious commission from The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs for the new medical examiner’s office. In spring 2007, Prince’s work was exhibited in the show “Pillow Talk” at Ruth Bachofner Gallery in Santa Monica, California. In 2005, Prince had solo exhibitions at Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters Gallery in New Brunswick , NJ and at Domo Gallery in Summit , NJ . Also in 2005, Prince's works were shown in the selected juried exhibition “7” at Rockland Center for the Arts. In 2004, Prince was invited to exhibit in “First Look” at the New Jersey Center for the Visual Arts. Prince was chosen by Whitney curator Shamin Momin to be in the “R.I.S.D. Biennial” at Claire Oliver Fine Art in NYC.
Prince's works were selected for the show “Meditation” at the NYArts Magazine gallery in NYC. Lily's work was also included in the annual "Faculty Exhibition" in the Ben Shahn Galleries of William Paterson University . In 2003, Prince's works were included in The Affordable Art Fair and in The Armory International Arts Fair in NYC. Prince's work has been reviewed in The New York Times (five times in the past few years) and most recently in The Newark Star Ledger in 2004. She was included in "Art Is, Videos of Artists." In the past few years, Lily Prince has been commissioned to create paintings and prints for the Ritz Carlton Hotel Spa in South Beach , FLA ; Mandarin Oriental Hotel , D.C. ; Mandarin Oriental Hotel, NYC; Marriot World Center Hotel , FLA ; Mohegan Sun Casino Hotel , CT.
Professor Prince received her BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1984 and her MFA in painting in 1991 from Bard College , Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts. In 1991, Prince studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and was chosen to participate in the Bronx Museum Artist-in-the-Marketplace Program. In 1983-84, she studied abroad on the Rhode Island School of Design's European Honors Program in Rome, Italy.
