CENTER FOR COMPUTER ART AND ANIMATION

The mission of the Center for Computer Art and Animation is to educate and professionally prepare students towards realizing career goals in their chosen field. For the student to develop a personal visual vocabulary, problem solving abilities, and to address the needs of the audience, market and global society.

We foster research, experimentation and refinement toward teaching design and animation as dynamic processes. The three concentrations (Digital Art and Illustration, Interactive Media, and Animation) encourage rigorous standards in creativity, the inter-relationships among the arts, and an awareness of historical and contemporary trends; joining knowledge and skill. We encourage students to think critically about their ethical and environmental responsibilities as members of the global community.
