Theater Concentration
The Theatre concentration offers students a focus on the art of theatre, both academically and experientially. Live performance, writing, and collaborative learning are the hallmarks. Students are required to perform in and/or work on theatrical productions as part of the concentration. Those who concentrate in theatre also will learn about other media and methods of communication as part of the Communication Department.

Every communication major is required to complete a capstone experience.

Required GE:
Students in the THEATER CONCENTRATION are required to take COMM 101 Introduction to Theatre as one of their two required GE’s in the Art and Communication area.
NOTE:
Students are also expected to complete at least one credit each from the following practical applications as part of their Free Electives:
