WPUNJ Communication Honor Society
Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). An accredited member of the Association of Colleges.

WPU Student Film Association
A student organization for filmmakers and cinema lovers, in charge of programming the WPU Student Film Festival, featuring films by students and alumni.

The Pioneer Times
A student newspaper published out of the Communication Department at William Paterson University. Students in every major are welcome to write for or submit work to the paper.

Comedy Festival
Once a year the Communication Department at William Paterson University hosts a statewide competition for the funniest college student in New Jersey.

Student Public Relations Association
The Association creates public relations programs for select causes and issues of interest to WPU students, faculty and staff and provides public relations services to select campus clubs and organizations.

Theatre Time
Every semester the Communication Department supports a trip for students in the theatre classes to go into NYC and see a Brodaway/Off-Broadway show. Post-performance discussions with members of the casts often are arranged to enhance the experience.

Audio and Radio Awards
Each semester the best WPU student audio and radio productions are selected for the Maltese Award. Their excellence has also been recognized by CINDY and Communicator Awards.

WPSC Radio - 88.7 FM
WPSC - William Paterson University'sradio station offers students an opportunity to learn the many facets of radio through practical experience and to participate in broadcasting music, news, and sports, as well as learn about advertising, engineering and audio production. It is also carried on UA Columbia Cablevision.
