
The goals of Lambda Pi Eta are to:
- recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement;
- stimulate interest in the field of communication;
- promote and encourage professional development among communication majors;
- provide an opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas about the field;
- establish and maintain close relationships and understanding between faculty and students; and explore options for further graduate studies.
Application for Lambda Pi Eta - Communication Honor Society
To join, students must have:
1) an overall GPA of 3.0 or above,
2) have a Communication GPA of 3.25 or above with at least 60 completed
college credits for full memebership (students with less than 60 credits
may apply for associate membership), and
3) be actively committed to the discipline.
Annual membersip dues are $12
New members pay a one-time induction fee of $20 for certificates and pins.
