Jeff Buonforte

Jeff Buonforte will be wrapping up COIN 2016 by suggesting possible answers to the question: "Where do we go from here?" He will share insights from his over 35 years of experience in sales and retail banking on how to prepare for a succesful career in almost any field!

Mr. Buonforte joined Lakeland Bank in 1999 as Executive Vice President of Retail Banking and was appointed Executive Vice President of the Bank’s Financial Services Division in 2009. His responsibilities include the oversight of Municipal Banking, Wealth Management, Cash Management and Business Development. Prior to joining Lakeland, Mr. Buonforte, with over 35 years of sales and retail banking experience, was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at National Community Bank and its successor, Bank of New York. There he was responsible for marketing retail banking products and services to consumer and small business markets for the Bank.

Mr. Buonforte is currently a Trustee of the Passaic County 200 Club, a William Paterson University Business College advisory board member, an advisory board member of Montclair State University’s Music College. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Economics and Accounting from Nichols College in Dudley, MA. Mr. Buonforte is also a graduate, with honors, of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, University of Delaware. He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Series 7 and 63 FINRA license.
