Welcome to the Career Development and Gloria S. Williams Advisement Center at William Paterson University of New Jersey. The Center provides a comprehensive program designed to assist undergraduate students in making appropriate choices related to selecting a college major and ultimately defining their career goals. Undergraduate undeclared students and transfer students (with 12 credits or more) are assisted with developmental advisement and course selection. Graduate students are provided with guidance in career decision making and the job search.

The Academic Advisement and Career Development Center works in collaboration with the University and community constituents to provide students with the essential tools needed to achieve academic and career success. By providing effective academic advising, resource information, training, career counseling, job search tools and employment connections, students are empowered to define and achieve their personal, academic and career goals. The Center is committed to actively engaging students in academic and career exploration and decision making, resulting in a comprehensive educational and career plan that contributes to student success.
