The Career Development Center provides students with both full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Available job postings are accessible via WP Job Connect, an Internet based job listing service. Job matching and referral services are also available through WP Job Connect. Part-time Jobs at William Paterson University
There are 4 types of part-time jobs offered through William Paterson University:
1. On-Campus Jobs Through Financial Aid
These are jobs that are paid through the financial aid office. Students work in various departments on-campus, in the library and in other locations. If interested in one of these positions:
- Attend a Student Employment Workshop (usually offered during the first few weeks of the semester
- At the workshop - you will be given details on how to find a job; your eligibility hours
- If you have already attended a workshop then you do NOT need to attend again
2. Additional On-Campus Jobs (Excluding Financial Aid)
Additional on-campus jobs are all of the ones that are NOT covered by financial aid. You will need to go to EACH of these departments separately in order to apply.

3. Community Service/America Reads Program
The Community Service/America Reads Program is located off-campus at local non-profit agencies. You need to attend a Student Employment Workshop in order to be eligible for this position. 4. Off-Campus Positions
