The Student Government Association recognizes clubs and organizations at William Paterson University of New Jersey. The SGA houses all kinds of clubs including academic, social, cultural, sports, and media groups. As stated in the Student Government Association Constitution, every student of William Paterson University who has paid the student activity fee shall be a member of the Student Government Association. Students are encouraged to join any club they are interested in and if no club exists to serve their interest, they are encouraged to start a new club on campus. Please contact a staff member in the Office of Campus Activities and Student Leadership or in The Student Government Office to learn how.

Each semester the Office of Campus Activites and Student Leadership hosts a Club Fair. This event provides the opportunity for clubs to recruit new members and for students to learn about all of the recgonized clubs and organizations that they can become involved with. Please contact a staff member in the Office of Campus Activities and Student Leadership or visit the Campus Events Calendar to find out more about when the next Club Fair is scheduled to be held.
