The members of the CASL staff promote civic engagement through the provision of service and philanthropic opportunities with organizations in the surrounding community. Past service and philanthropic initiatives have included:

• Collecting food, toiletries, baby items, and clothing for Father English Community Center in Paterson, NJ
• Stocking the food pantry and clothing boutique at Father English Community Center in Paterson, NJ
• Organizing social and mentoring activities for the children and teens at Father English Community Center in Paterson, NJ
• Organizing events and fund raisers to raise money for local organizations in need of support. Past events and fundraisers have included the Flood Relief Comedy Show and the Latino Heritage Celebration Penny Collection support.
