2006 Graduates

Tiffany Greco graduated in January 2006 with a BS in Biotechnology, and is now at the University of Maryland, Baltimore pursuing a PhD in Molecular Medicine.

Michael Pelosi graduated in May 2006 with a BS in Biology and is now pursuing a medical humanities degree at Drew University. This is an interdisciplinary program which bridges the gap between the healthcare provider and the patient. He will get two years of clinical practice at Raritan Valley Medical center (an affiliate of Robert Wood Johnson) and will be entering Drew's doctorate in the same field in approximately a year and a half.

Brianne Villano graduated with a Masters in Biotechnology in August. She is currently employed as a scientist at an AgroBiotech company, Athenix Corporation, in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

2005 Graduates

Katie Banaszewski graduated with at BS in Biotech and is now a senior laboratory technician in the microbiology/quality control division at Masterfoods, USA.

Susan DelaCruz was a dual nursing and Biotech major and now works in a homecare agency as a clinical supervisor for nurses and is applying to a Masters program at Rutgers.

Charleen Hunt graduated in 2005 with a Biology degree and worked in the lab of Paul Greengard, which is a Nobel –prize winning laboratory at the Rockefeller University as a prelude to a strong graduate program. She was subsequently recruited by a biotech company in NY which offered her ‘greater than twice her salary at Rockefeller’– an offer she ‘could not refuse.’ While here, Charleen won many awards for her research including 1st prizes at the 8th Undergraduate Research Symposium conducted by the University of Maryland and at the 37th MACUB conference in Brooklyn New York.   

Robert Lorenzo graduated summa cum laude in 2005 with a BS in Biology and is currently a medical student at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.

2003 Graduates

Amin Espinal graduated magna cum laude in with a BS in Biology. He won a pre-doctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health to work in George Cross’s lab at Rockefeller Universtiy . He is now enrolled in a graduate program in Molecular and Developmental Biology jointly administered by the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute at Seattle.

Mario Sampson graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology and has been admitted to a graduate program in Pharmacy at the University of California at San Francisco.
