In 1999 the exhibit “Shape and Content: Artists’
Books Since 1960” was curated by the international expert
on artists’ books, Amy Baker Sandback. This exhibit
established the University’s collection of artists’
books. Since then other exhibits, including “Interior
Views: The Artist’s Book as a Personal Journal”
and “Life With Pocket Change and Other Pleasures”
, have contributed to the further development of the growing
collection. An annotated catalog of the exhibit “Shape
and Content”, with an introduction by Amy Baker Sandback
is available. A catalog of the exhibit “Life With Pocket
Change” with an introduction by Nancy Einreinhofer,
is also available.
