Carlos Cano '09
Carlos graduated in 2009 with his degree in business administration and professional sales. While a student, Carlos was involved as a  Student Ambassador, Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, and member of SGA. He presently works at WP as an Admissions Counselor and is involved with the Young Alumni Chapter as a way to contribute back to his alma mater outside of his normal job!

Meredith Cooper, BA '99, MA '01
Meredith received her bachelor's degree in communications and her master's degree in english from WP. While on campus, Meredith was part of the Catholic Campus Ministry, The Beacon, The Pioneer Times, WPSC-FM, Student Council, and Lambda Pi Eta - Communication Honors Society. Today, Meredith is the Editor In Chief of Hispanic OutlooK-12 magazine. She believes that being a member of the Young Alumni Committee is a creative and fun way to give back to WP and stay connected.

Michele Garcia ‘15
Michele received her bachelor of science in marketing, and her bachelor of science in professional sales from WP. As a student, Michele was involved with Residence Life, SIFE/Enactus, Marketing Club, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, as an Orientation Leader, Student Government Association, Student Alumni Council, and the Business Organization Advisory Board. Michele is also a member of the Alumni Executive Council, and works as a Product Launch Coordinator at Haier America. Michele is involved in YAC is because she loves her alma mater. Pioneer Pride will always rush through her veins, and that is why she proudly wears black and orange all year round-- even when it’s not October!  Michele genuinely love connecting and sharing with all alumni because they possess such talent and wisdom among many other qualities. William Paterson University will forever be her home.

Angela Cobianchi '99
Angela received her degree in fine arts from WP. While at WP, she was involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry, Shea Auditorium Stage Crew, Student Art Association, and Hospitality Services. Angels is an Operations Assistant at Brown & Brown Insurance and a freelance graphic designer. She is involved in the Young Alumni Committee for alumni enrichment and involvement.

Dainelle Morris MA ‘15
Dainelle received her masters of biology in 2015 from WP. She earned her bachelors degree in biology from Rutgers University. Dainelle is currently working as a Lead Immunohistochemistry Technologist at Bioreference Laboratories, where she has been employed since 2009. She enjoys learning new things and accepting challenges with a smile. As a proud alumna from WPUNJ Dainelle enjoys participating in and creating new activities and events that will appeal to many of our young alumni, which will help us nurture the special bond that alumni should share. She also views being a member of the Young Alumni Chapter as an opportunity to make a positive impact on the communities that surround WP.

Krysta Venturella '07
Krysta is a marketing and communication specialist who currently works as an editor on a health and wellness website. At WP, she was editor-in-chief of the Pioneer Times and a member of the Student Public Relations Association. In 2007, she earned a communication degree with a concentration in journalism and a minor in English writing. She is a member of YAC to foster a relationship with fellow WP graduates and the WP community.

Dan O'Brien '08
Dan graduated from William Paterson University in 2008 where he was involved in Phi Alpha Theta and Pi Sigma Alpha National Honors Societies. He went on to pursue his law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. Prior to graduating in 2011 he was involved in many student organizations and served as Secretary of The St. Thomas More Catholic Law Society.  While there he was a research assistant to Dr. John Min Kang, a leading expert on American Constitutional Law. Dan returned to New Jersey after receiving his juris doctor and is currently licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Federal Court and the United States Tax Court.  He is currently a practicing mental health attorney based in Newark and also lectures and teaches on mental health law and policy. Aside from his involvement with William Paterson as a member of both the Young Alumni Council and volunteer Mentor with the Pesce Family Mentoring Institute, Dan is also an active member of the Morris & Essex County Bar Associations as well as the Worrall F. Mountain Inn of Court. He also serves as the President of the Montville Township High School Hall of Fame Association, a not for profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships no graduating high schools seniors, and as the President of the Morris County Young Democrats. In his spare time he enjoy spending time outdoors playing golf and hiking with his fiancée.

Naima Ricks '11
Naima obtained her bachelors degree in sociology from William Paterson University, then went on to further her education and expertise by obtaining her master's degree in college student personnel administration from Seton Hall University. She began her leadership at William Paterson University as she served in numerous roles as the Sophomore Class President, Sociology Club President and even the President of the Student Government Association. Naima has worked tirelessly to improve the community that she has been a part of since she was two years old. In January of 2014, Naima made history by being sworn in as the youngest member ever to be elected to the Roselle Board Education and held the position of Vice President. Since October of 2015, Naima has worked at the College of Saint Elizabeth as the Director of Student Engagement. Since the day after graduation in May 2011 Naima has been involved with the Young Alumni Committee (YAC).  She wanted to be involved with the planning of activities for the young alumni and ensure that the rest of her young alumni peers had an enriching alumni experience.

Craig Woelpper '07
Craig is the special events marketing manager and grants coordinator for William Paterson University’s Performing Arts department that services the WP Presents!, Jazz Room, Distinguished Lecturer Series, and special College of the Arts and Communications’ events. He is also a freelance publicist and promoter for UMT Concerts and Events. Craig brings over ten years of experience in marketing and arts administration. He holds a B.A. from William Paterson University, where he graduated magna cum laude and a member of Lambda Pi Eta. Craig is also certified in Leadership Management through William Paterson University’s Continuing and Professional Education program. Most recently, he served as a lead panelist discussing digital marketing at the Pennsylvania Arts Presenters Conference. Craig is highly regarded by his peers as one of the top arts marketers in the U.S. Northeast region. He’s an active member of the Young Alumni Council, Consortium of Eastern Regional Theatres and Jersey Arts Marketers. As a dedicated alum, he has volunteered at many University events and worked closely with the Alumni Association in developing and producing the video Alumni Spotlight Series.

Michael Turco '05
Michael Turco is an American magician, known for Coming Home Red Carpet Events (supporting soldiers returning home from war). He received national exposure by appearing on the sixth season of America's Got Talent on NBC in the summer of 2011 Michael was born in Wayne, New Jersey, and attended William Paterson University. As a child, Michael spent summers in South Jersey attending every show in Atlantic City watching magicians perform. He started with card tricks, and began performing stage shows in middle school. Michael performs Magic shows throughout the USA. He starred in "Magic and Mayhem" on the Las Vegas Strip and he also performed "Magic and Mayhem" at Six Flags: Magic Mountain on select days.

Kevin Haden '07

Kevin was involved with the Student Alumni Council (secretary) and the WP television station as a student at William Paterson. He is the past president of the Young Alumni Chapter, and was instrumental in starting tailgating at Homecoming. Kevin works for Opici Family Distributing, and his hobbies are mountain biking and yoga.
