William Paterson University is proud to have enrolled thousands of Distinguished Scholars in the past and looks forward to being the destination of many Fall 2010 recipients. Please note the following possibilities for you at William Paterson University: Merit Scholarships - The majority of Distinguished Scholars are eligible to receive one of our Trustee Scholarships in addition to the $2000 for the Distinguished award. Our Trustee Scholarship provides students with annual award amounts ranging from $4000 to $11000 per year. - Click here to review all of the merit scholarship opportunities available to you. Academic Programs - The University Honors College provides challenging and academic opportunities and a supportive environment to help high acheiving students prepare for employment and graduate and professional schools. - Pre-Professional preparation is available for Law and Medicine. - Click here to research all of the University's academic programs. Residential Opportunities - Merit scholarship and Honors students have priority housing in our new residence hall - High Mountain East - a state-of-the-art facility that opened in Fall 2006. - Click here to investigate residential living at William Paterson University. Interested? - The priority application deadline is February 15 for scholarship and Honors College consideration. - To be considered for any of our merit scholarships - aside from the University Honors College, which requires a separate application - students simply need to apply for admission and be admitted.
