Admission
to EOF
A prospective EOF student must complete
a William Paterson University admission application and an EOF application.
To be considered for the program, you must meet the NJ State income eligibility
criteria. You may contact the EOF office via telephone (973) 720-2182
or e-mail to request these applications. You may, also, download an online
application by going to application in the banner.
A. First-time freshmen: In addition to the above information,
you must provide your high school transcript and SAT scores (if available).
B. Transfer students: In addition to the admission and
EOF applications and your official academic transcripts from all previously-attended
colleges, provide a copy of your financial aid transcript (F.A.T.). Request
this from your college's financial aid office. If you are currently an
EOF student, you must provide us with a completed Sector Transfer Form.
All incoming freshmen, EOF transfers, and continuing
students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
for each academic year by February. The FAFSA may be obtained from a high
school guidance office or you may contact the William Paterson University's
Financial Aid Office.

Criteria for Admission
The criteria is divided into academic and financial considerations.
The freshman class SAT average scores will be a combined 800 with a minimum
390 on the verbal component. The applicant's official high school transcript
must indicate a cumulative grade point average of a 2.3 / C+ or better
with14 academic units
