   Clarinetist Marianne
   Gythfeldt, born in
   Scotland and raised
   in Norway, has
   distinguished herself
   in chamber music,
   orchestral, and
   contemporary music
   performance on the
   international stage.
   She is acting principal
   clarinetist of the New
   Haven Symphony and    
   performs with the Orpheus
   Chamber Orchestra, the
   Orchestra of St. Luke's, and
   the Chamber Music Society of    
   Lincoln Center.
