AIR - If you are traveling by air to the Symposium, you may choose from three major international airports: Newark, NJ (EWR); John F. Kennedy (JFK) in Queens, NY; or Laguardia (LGA), also in Queens.

If you are staying in Manhattan, all three airports have City access via public transportation: taxi, bus, train/subway. If you are staying at the Symposium hotel in Wayne, NJ, where William Paterson University is located, it is best to use the Newark airport. It will be an expensive cab ride to the University, so car rental is a strong consideration. Please note that airport to hotel transfers are not included in the Symposium fees.

For those lodging in Manhattan, a charter bus will be provided for Symposium attendees. There will be one bus departing at 8 a.m. each morning and one bus returning at the end of the day’s activities. If you wish to arrive/depart at a different time, or if you miss your connection, regularly scheduled New Jersey Transit buses depart from Port Authority (located at the corner of Eighth Avenue between 40th and 41st Streets).
