Submissions: The Sagacious Stephen Sondheim, A Sondheim Symposium and NETWORK Regional Conference at William Paterson University encourages the following types of submissions for double blind review:
- Scholarly and/or Research Papers -- Completed papers regarding Sondheim and/or any phase of his oeuvre
- Case Studies Interesting and/or unique case studies of productions of Sondheims work
- Reports on Issues Related to Teaching -- Reports related to innovative instruction techniques or research
related to teaching performance, production, and/or practice of Sondheim and/or any phase of his oeuvre
Deadline: The Symposium will observe an open-ended deadline for papers and studies. Primary consideration will be given to papers received by 1 December 2007.
Format of Presentations: Paper sessions will consist of two presentations in a 45-minute session. The session will be divided equally between the presenters.
Submitting a Proposal:
- Create a title page for your submission. The title page should include:
title of the submission
name(s) of the author(s)
department(s) and affiliation(s)
mailing address(es)
e-mail address(es)
phone number(s)
corresponding author if different than lead author
- Page two should be your brief biography. Please limit the bio to 200 words.
- E-mail your paper, along with a title page, to: sprayberryp@wpunj.edu
Receipt of submissions will be acknowledged via email within 48 hours.

There is a limit of two contributed submissions per lead author.
All presenters and participants must complete a Symposium registration form and pay registration (this is a self-funding event). Symposium presenters will not receive an honorarium.
