Graduate students may borrow most books for one semester. Media and computer software circulate for three days to two weeks. Reference and periodicals do not circulate. A WPUNJ ID card is required for circulation. A bar code is affixed to your ID card and that code is your library account number. Students can view a list of materials checked out and their due dates by selecting the My Account option from the Library Online Catalog.

We can assist you in locating and obtaining resources from other libraries. Reciprocal borrowing arrangements exist with most New Jersey academic libraries and with the public libraries in Passaic County. Simultaneously search catalogs of area libraries through Jersey Cat by selecting "Other Libraries" from the Cheng Library Online Catalog. The Library also purchases an access card from Princeton University Libraries for faculty and graduate students. The reference librarian can assist you in locating materials not owned by the Library. For further information about the use of other libraries, click here.
The Interlibrary Loan Department will borrow research materials from other institutions and will arrange for photocopies of articles as well. Interlibrary loan requests can be made online from the Library Webpage. Articles received through Interlibrary Loan will be sent to your university e-mail account. Books and other materials received through interlibrary loan are picked up at the Periodicals Service Desk.
