Welcome to the Admissions Process for Undergraduate Jazz Degrees

1. To apply to any of the jazz degree programs you must first apply to William Paterson University. Applications are available from the Admissions Office, or you may apply online.

2. After you have applied to William Paterson University, you must fill out a Music Department application. You may download an application in Adobe Acrobat format by clicking on the link below.

For all jazz degree programs the deadline for submission of music department applications and audition materials is:

February 1 for fall matriculation
Students are admitted to the jazz program in the Spring semester only if space is available. Please check with the music admissions office for more information.

3. All students wishing to be considered for a jazz degree program must submit a recorded audition. Please see the jazz auditions page for more information.
