The Department of Communication is housed in a self-contained building, Hobart Hall replete with state-of-the-art equipment and modern classrooms. In addition to professional television studios, Hobart Hall's offerings include film production and screening rooms, a fully-equipped FM radio station, computer laboratories, audio production, film and video editing rooms.
The building also contains the university's distance learning classrooms and a videoconferencing and teleconferencing auditorium used by W.P.U.N.J. and local companies. To move into the digital era, the department is continuing to purchase equipment that will allow communication students to study and work in the state's most modern facility.
