The Alumni Relations Office is
located in the Allan and Michele Gorab Alumni House, 42 Harmon Place,
North Haledon, NJ 07508. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Summer hours (mid-May until the end of August)
are Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. See Directions

Janis B. Schwartz, Interim Director

Janis has a background of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, communications, and alumni relations. As interim director, she is responsible for overseeing all alumni events, as well as coordinating the 50th Reunion and Pioneer Society programming. She works closely with the Alumni Executive Council’s Scholarship and Programs, Initiatives and Connections Committees as well as the Parents’ Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Douglass College at Rutgers University and recently completed a master of administrative science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. |

Rodney
Cauthen '97, Alumni Associate/Coordinator of Parent Programs,

Rodney joined the staff in January 2003, six years
after earning his B.A. degree in Communication from William Paterson.
He handles the logistics for many of the alumni events held throughout
the year and serves as the liaison for the Parents’ Association.
Rodney is also the coordinator of the Silent Auction component of
the WPUNJ Foundation’s annual Legacy Award Dinner and an active
member of the African, African-American, and Caribbean Alumni Chapter. |

Gina has been with the University since
1981. She joined the alumni staff in October 1995 after fourteen
years working with Career Development. Gina's responsibilities include
clerical aspects of the office and supervision of a cadre of student
workers. She and her husband, Allan, have one daughter. |

The Alumni Annual Fund raises funds for the Alumni Association grants and
scholarships program, with awards given to the most deserving William Paterson
students and the University's most compelling needs. It also supports programming
designed to keep alumni connected to William Paterson.
