FRIDAY– June 7

SATURDAY– June 8
8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Nature Hike Begins at the Recreation Center
Bring your hiking boots and join us for a hike through one of the most scenic campuses in the state and enjoy the view surrounding Buttermilk Falls. Breakfast boxes will be provided for hikers.

Pioneer Society Breakfast, Hobart Manor
Alumni graduating before 1952 will be specially honored on the occasion of their quinquennial reunion. This event is by special invitation only.

Early Bird Campus Tour Begins at Caldwell Plaza
Get a head start and enjoy a guided tour while viewing all the wonderful changes (behind Machuga Student Center)
and additions to the campus aboard the Pioneer Shuttle.

President’s Welcoming Address, Amphitheater (outside of Machuga Student Center) Rain location: Student Center Café
Dr. Arnold Speert will welcome alumni to this annual event and share some of the highlights that have made William Paterson University what it is today. You will also have an opportunity to reunite with classmates as well as meet other fellow alumni.

Meet the Deans Buildings of the five Colleges
Deans of the five colleges: Arts and Communication, Christos M. Cotsakos College of Business, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science and Health will share their views on how the University is positioning itself as a pre-eminent institution of higher learning. Specific meeting locations will be distributed at check-in.

Meet current and retired faculty as well as University staff members. The Class of 1977, participants of the Silver Reunion, will present a gift to the University.

The highlight of the day. Reunion celebrants span the decades of time with music and enjoyment for everyone! You have a tableside choice of:
Filet of Beef with Caramelized Shallots
Stuffed Breast of Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers and Pesto Sauce
Grilled Salmon with Ginger Lime Butter
Grilled Portabello Mushroom with Spinach, Garlic, and Tomato
Seated with your classmates, you have plenty of time to reconnect and reminisce. Formal class photos are taken through the evening.
Dress is semi-formal. Cost: $50 per person

Reunion celebration continues with entertainment provided by WBAL-TV anchorman Rod Daniels ’75. A cash bar will be available.

Farewell Breakfast Machuga, Student Center Restaurant
Say your good-byes as you leisurely enjoy a wonderful southern-style breakfast. Cost: $8.50 per person.

10:45 a.m.
Ecumenical Mass Service, Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Chapel

All alumni are welcome to attend this service. There will also be a special reunion gathering for Campus Catholic Ministry and Newman House alumni. Father Lou Scurti and Reverend Monsignor John Wehrlan look forward to greeting you.

For alumni planning to stay overnight in our newly renovated White Hall (formerly Pioneer Hall), please go directly to White Hall.
Overnight accommodations include a Saturday morning continental breakfast.

Reunion Registration
Saturday, June 8 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) Zanfino Plaza (in front of the Machuga Student Center). Please check in at the Student Center upon your arrival to campus where you will be greeted by members of the Reunion Committee 2002 and the staff of the Alumni Relations Office.

Hospitality Services
For your enjoyment, the Bookstore and Commuter Café are open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday. In addition, the David and Lorraine Cheng Library will be open between 12 - 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Child care is available through the Future Alumni Camp at the Child Development Center. Activities for younger children (3 through 5 years old) and older children (6 through 14 years old) are available from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
