The goal in this course is to explore different forms of literature written by women and men from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, social classes, and historical periods. This will include the development of English Literature, Modernism, Feminist Literature and Literature From a Cross-Cultural Perspective. We will also examine different schools of literary criticism as well as examine several writers in depth.
